You, sir, should be sainted! Or some such equivalent in computer terms… you have no idea how much this will help, as my system is somewhat unstable and Logic hangs are unfortunately an inevitable part of my workflow.

also this feature causes logic to only read the solo'd regions from the disk… not everything else on the timeline like the channel solo mode. its a great way to bounce stems. solo the regions with this tool, and bounce. goes wayyyy faster and probably more reliably.

I think you can also get Logic's PID by running

ps aux | grep Logic

Which saves having to search through top in order to find said PID.
